Anyone who owns a DDRUM trigger want to do me a favor?

Thanks a lot man! Could you clariy something for me though?

Is that 4 pins? Or is the very top piece of metal not connected to anything?

What a waste of XLR. Just use a 1/4" plug. Unless you have a ton of XLR cables to use, then that would be more beneficial for you.

Awesome, thanks for the advice! Looks like that deposit I'm getting soon will be well spent. One last question, I'm reading that the drums need to be muffled in order for the triggers to work correctly, I've seen videos of guys literally stuffing the drums with pillows and whatnot. How do you feel about this? Do you think any of it is really necessary?

when i saw the thread title, i was gunna take a pic.

then i saw someone already did, so i was gunna say how i am doing the exact same thing and building triggers at the moment.

then andy goes and suggests those cheap triggers and now im just sad haha

Aren't the ones Andy linked to pretty much exactly like the DDrum Redshot triggers? (not being a dick! Legitimately wondering on the difference and what makes these ones better!) If the wiring from the piezo to the jack is more secure and solid though then they look like a fantastic option, it's DDrum's cheap wiring method that causes them to break all the time :/
