Does any one have any April Ethereal? i heard one of their song The Shadow Of Nyarlathotep and i found it fucken awsome. Its like old Opeth. Was wondering if anyone has any of their stuff? ive been looking everywhere for their stuff. Cant seem to get any of it. I also heard that they have broken up now? is this true?

Farmakon is a very great band. April Ethereal and Nahemah are below average imo.

Opeth is pretty original in all these regards in all eras. Although I guess the vocals are standard death metal fare, I think they were one of the first bands to so regularly combine clean and death vocals. I'm not aware of any bands that used the bass as prominently as Opeth did on Orchid and Morningrise.
