apTrigga random mode problem

So I know random mode is supposed to play the samples loaded randomly, but when i select it, it still just plays the sample i have selected like Dynamic mode does. It does this with sequence mode too. Anyone know why it does this?

yeah, i think it does this when triggered via midi...

I don't use it this way so I don't really care

It could be that you have to change the velocity of each drum hit, but I'm not sure

Which DAW? I remember MArcus talking about having the same problem when he had all the velocities max-ed out in Reaper.

Yeah I use Reaper and have the velocities maxed.

Okay, so try changing that. If you want the samples to be triggered randomly it doesn't matter how high the velocities are anyway.

ahh, that works. For some reason I kept thinking changing the velocities would actually change the velocity (because I'm so used to using Superior 2).

yea this is an old bug that myself stumped until i found marcus having the same issue. it's specific to reaper and MIDI... and you don't need to randomize the velocities, just set them all to 126 instead of 127. it's weird.
