This names has been thrown around a few times and after playing Anthems of Rebellion to death they have gotta be on the bill. Album of the year so far, heavy as fuck but with LOADS of melody.
If Bruce Dickinson sang on this album it would be the album Maiden SHOULD have made instead of the dull Dance of Death!

And if they get on the bill we could have Spiritual Beggars as well :headbang:

Well forget about Spiritual Beggars thanks, but AE would be great. Like you I've been spinning AOR to Death - and like you say, swap in another voice and it could be Maiden - with decent tunes. If they get the chance they'll surprise a lot of people.

CoB have turned their sound quite commercial now, the early stuff is better.

Ditto Arch Enemy

Dark Tranquillity have changed their sound but it is not a downward progression like so many other bands.

The bands mentioned I'd want to see Dark Tranquillity but none of the others.

order of favouritism for me: AE, CoB, DT

however, order of preference for playing bloodstock:CoB, DT, AE

I've already managed to see AE twice, whereas the others never come and play anywhere near me...i dont have enough money to travel far for single gigs, only for festivals really...pity a poor student! (2nd time tonight i've tried to pull that one off, i know...)
