Arch Enemy

She doesn't like loads of people crowding her, I get that, but she didn't even stop to talk to 3 of us outside a gig, FUCK THAT SHIT. Pisses me off as the rest of the band were fine to talk to us.

My point exactly, this is why I went right of them, because of her, one thing I will say though and in no way is this meant to be offensive to Matt and Ol as those 2 guys do more than enough with the fans not only here in the forum but out on the road as well.

The way I see it is that I employ the bands to do a job and that is to entertain me and therefore as an employer I reserve the right to try and speak with the band, asking the band to pose for photographs with me or even to obtain an autograph, you can't get away with "I have no time to speak with fans because I am tired" or ignoring them completely like Angela did, if it wasn't for us people paying money to give the bands a living, they would still be like doing jobs that us lot do, we can easily stop supporting bands and Angela would do well to remember that.

I understand where you're coming from, I really do. At the same time though you have to remember that their job is to entertain (like you said), but on stage. As harsh as it may sound, it's not their job to stop, talk to fans and be nice. Sure it's a bonus if they do, and most bands are down to earth enough to realised that two minutes of their time can mean the world to a fan. Others, well, at the end of the day they're musicians... if they're too tired (or just can't be arsed) to stop and talk to their fans then that's fair enough. Just chippin' in my two cents!

I'm with you on this one.

Acting like a dick to a fan leads to discussions like this, which leads new fans like me thinking twice about spending money on an album, t-shit, etc.

I'd only be a dick to my fans for amusement. Not that I have any, but soon

I'd only ever piss 'em off for shits 'n giggles, nevr because I didn't like 'em or because I didn't want to talk. Its part of the job when you're a musician, so do your fucking job.

Remind me to be your No1 fan.

Well, the show last night was awesome. The first two bands were good - Mutiny Within and Arsis. Exodus Rocked Fucking Hard, and Arch Enemy really sealed the deal, even if you dont like their music they do put on a pretty awesome live show. Definitely the best $30 I've spent in a while.

My buddy and I had a seat in the front row of the bar with an unobstructed view of the stage - probably about 20' away. The show wasn't packed, but it was pretty full.
