Archillusion - Desolate Dreamscape - technical prog metal

Vocals sound like Warrell Dane a bit. Music is technical prog. Will gain fans amongst those who like it more calculated and clinical rather than warm and fuzzy when it comes to prog metal though of course you may like both.

Huge Nevermore influence here. The vocalist is not a stellar powerhouse like Dane, but he is quite good to my ears. The music is proggier than the average Nevermore tune, which works for me. I imagine Desolate Dreamscape will rank very highly on my 2013 list.
