I bought an Art MPA that I really love, based on some blind test I had come across when I was looking at the GAP pre73. I recently have been unsatisfied with mix bus compressors that I have or have trialed. I some people have mentioned this as an effective otb "glue" compressor, and it sound pretty good on specific instrument groups/vocals, and it being stereo gives me the option of running it in series for a stacked compressor. It's $299 USD and I haven't found anything else that seems to stick out as better without looking at $1000+ ranges. Does anyone have any experiences with this unit or have other suggestions for hardware options?
