I´m comming from the HC point of view:
IMO if you want to listen to music, a good stereo is the way to go.
If you want to feel the energy of the music then the live-show is my choice.
I dont want to see the band plays 100% tight but standing on the stage with no movement.
I want to see a band go crazy and celibrating with the crowd!!!
I dont give a fuck if it is tight or not (besides the drums, the drum-guys are sitting so I expect them to be tight). I love it when frontman/frontgirls go stagediving and throwing the mic in the crowd so the crowd sings-along
