As I Lay Dying

I may have mentioned this band once or twice before, but I wanted to give this band a whole thread.

Melodic extreme metal is the best way I can describe this band. The music is great (though some songs sound samey to others) you really dont get tired of the music. The drums are beyond awesome, the rythem guitar has a driving beat, and lead guitar has hardcore influences, I really cant make out the bass so im not gonna lie about that.

The vocals are hardcore sounding to me but still very good (one of the few extreme bands I can listen to)

The lyrics are beyond amazing. The sheer poetry that this band posseses (sp?) is certainly a gift and the highpoint of the cd for me.
