Ascending low pass effect?

anyone have any advice on how to create an ascending low pass effect like in the song "supererogation demo new mix" on the chimp spanner page?

Really easy - automation, and an EQ.

Yea, just set your lowpass where you want it at the beginning of the effect, then automate the frequency control for the filter to gradually increase over time until it isn't "filtering" anymore, and whallah!
