anyone care to take a listen and critique?

so far i know the bass needs to come up, and the vocals need to come down. and the guitars are pretty muddy sounding because i recorded them with an awkward set of string gauges that were super old. i would have re recorded, but my guitar is currently effed up at the moment :/

anywho, some extra criticism would be nice!

Cool vocals. Not really a fan of the mix sorry man. Everything just seems a little muddy and seems that all instruments are fighting for the main spot in the mix. Drums sounds extremely programmed too..

Cool riffing and vox though

yea my main problem with it is making a spot for each instrument. the reason it sounds muddy (at least the guitars) is listed above. bass is a pitch shifted guitar, and old rubber bandy strings dont help that one bit.

keep in mind that these are demos of the songs. im going to re record the guitars/bass this weekend with new strings so hopefully that'll make some stuff sit better.

if anyone can help me out as to how to get each instrument in its own spot in the mix, id greatly appreciate it. does it have to do with the master process? my master bus is just a little comp to eliminate clipping, Ozone (for slight eq and subtle reverb), Waves limiter and a little bit of saturation.

im going to record a short, instrumental introductory track as well and throw them on a downloadable demo on Total Deathcore, and id like it to sound as good as it can for what its worth, being programmed drums, ampsims and a shitty mic/interface.
