Anyone ever heard of these guys? There pretty good, I was just wondering if anyone has heard of them before? Or if you have any info.

How many albums have they released? I don't really like the chick vocals that much, the only female vocals I really like is Cia Hedmark's. Another band I've been really into is Die Apokalyptischen Reiter, but I bought some of there other cd's that were fuckin horrible. "All you need is love" is seriously one of best cd's I've heard in a long time. Another band that I have never heard of.

its only a shame that Lazare wont be doing more vocals for those guys, that is my only complaint with the band, which isn't really a comlpaint because he was never actually in the band.

Weren`t they said to be THE newcomers of 2003 ? I bought one of their albums, but listened only once so far.... maybe I should give it another try, if you all love it so much....

That is it why I really liked the cd "all you need is love" they combined about 3 different kinds of metal in one. The vocals were great, I was really pissed as I bought serveral others and they contained one, maybe two worth listening.

Asmegin is great! I love the folk influences, it gives a different twist. I had never heard of them before. Just digging around at the record store, and bought it without hearing it. I'm happy with my purchase!
Yes, they are great but there is also one band in Norway which is similar to Ásmegin and as great as Ásmegin. This band is Lumsk.

Yes lumsk and asmegin are two worlds utterly different.....lumsk are never speedy but the songs are very heavy and mid-paced and they use a clean male vocal while asmegin are all the contrary and etc. anyway I like lumsk the most, asmegin are not my cup of tea

They are probably the best viking metal band out there along with Moonsorrow. They have released a demo and a full length album. There album gets daily rotation in the car CD player!
