Weird yet intriguing Doom Metal. Cosmic Key is likely my favourite on this album. Oh, their myspace pic is great.

forget it vittra, it's RCtown :bah:

But yea, awesome album. Eclectic doom indeed, some traditional, doom/death and 70's rock. Some great riffs abound, and the clean vocals while strange in some places, work well. There are many transitions in each song (long songs) but when they've found something they stay on it for a bit. Cosmic key and expression stand out for me right now. The latter being a perfect example of a great rocking riff going right into a much doomier part. Albums such as these tend to work better as a whole (as with the bands i'll mention below).

As mentioned, if you like aarni or umbra nihil look into em!

I never heard of the city of Tampere until 3 days ago, since that time I've seen it referenced 6 times. Is this place growing at the rate of Dubai? Re-tracking OT: I didn't much care for the style exhibited on Landscapes. It's funeral doom devoid of atmosphere. Albeit that the last minute or so is quite nice, I prefer my slow trudging claustrophobic despair recorded in a sepulcher, not a men's restroom at Arby's. Monotony only works in the realm of top 40. Didn't much care for the other EP offering either.

Thankfully that is not what this topic is about. The two tracks from their full length show significant strides of progress. "Preemptive Edit*Holy Schindler, at the six minute mark, End of Ages becomes as epic as Helvetekrieg in the arms of half a dozen Irishmen !. This is right up my alley, just point me where to purchase.

DOOM!!! :headbang:

Edit - As always I slam the gavel on my verdict much too soon. These EP tracks aren't half bad.

i remember liking what i heard of the demo

only reason i checked this band out in the first place is because they took their name from such a LEGENDARY fucking album

just point me where to purchase.

I can't recommend you anywhere I've purchased from at this point, no one seems to have it anymore. I had gotten mine from Suffering Jesus Distro and she usually only carries a couple of copies of things she gets in. Places you CAN get it however:

1) From Astral Sleep (Contacts link has an order form)

2) Solitude Productions (Their Label, Actually has prices in USD, $8, shipping will be extra)

3) All That Is Heavy (Never bought from here, for some reason I don't trust they have it in stock)
