i don't think elements is bad. i'd prefer to listen to the other 2, but still, i think it's pretty good.

Unquestionable Presence is one of the few death metal albums I find myself going back to.

It's exceptional.

The first album isn't bad, either, but the third Atheist album is garbage.

I liked Elements a lot too. Had to sell some shit recently and it was a victim. At least I got $35 for it.

Elements is good, regardless it does not compare to the first two. The production is off. Musically and production wise rushed. What I remember they broke up,reformed due to a contract, did the album, called it quits after.
