I have only recorded vox a couple times before.. this is my latest attempt at recording & mixing em.. just used a SM58, didn't even record in a dead room. think that had a big effect on the sound? there are some weird overtones to his screams every here and there. is that a performance thing, or could I EQ those out?

I've got a SM57 here too, and heard Lamb of God used it on some of their really old stuff for vox. wanna try it out next time I get together with this guy, except how am I supposed to keep pops and sibilance under control with that thing? no pop filter on it at all..
 
uploaded new version of tune. different guitar and bass tone.
not sure about the new one.. tricky to judge this one. the mix sounds really full but I think its getting a little jumbled together, bass might be a too loud. especially when the performance is a bad as mine was lol... need to re-record that next. snare doesn't cut as well in the new version either.
