I know how hard self releasing stuff is ... It is a tedious task that I have never managed to get through.. so time consuming and the results never seem to be what I want. I listened to your mp3s on soundclick(?) or something like that, and really enjoyed them. So good job.. mabye I should start setting aside an hour or 2 a week to something like this and mabye get something done!

The hardest part of it was learning how to record. At least half the time was spent learning the equipment and tricks of the recording trade. Now that I know the basics it goes much more smoothly and I can get stuff done more quickly which tends to lead to better creativity. But of course I keep buying new equipment I have to learn such as that keyboard I bought a month ago. I'm still not half way through the manual on that one. But I spend usually spend anywhere from 10 to 30 hours a week on this (no I don't have much of life).
