ok here's something really crazy, you ready? the bacteria that causes common pneumonia also causes highly volatile spinal menengitis. crazy right? it's like, it just matters where it lands. bacteria is SO SKETCHY !!!!!!!!!! and viruses are even more in the 'loose cannon' department.

seriously!!

it's like 'hey let's invade the lungs!!'

BAM, pneumonia. and then if any stray bacteria somehow infiltrates your spinal column you're stuck with bacterial meningitis. That's SO dicey! Thinking about htis stuff for too long makes me want to eat shards of glass. Although that might puncture my intestines. And then all the helpful bacteria in there would get out and kill me dead.

Talk to me about viruses!

dude!!!!!!!!! what about strep! that virus is SO BIG (literally!!!!!!!!!) that if it gets into your blood it can scar your heart muscles! WTB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok

ps it's the willy nilly part that scares me

pps YEAH it IS like republicans, like they just zip around muttering 'me now me now me now me now' under their breath

OH MAN and don't forget about BEES! bees kill more people every year, statistically, than sharks or snakes!
I'm allergic to bees.

BEES

avi, is that the disease where the spores from a soil fungus are inhaled and grow into multi level spores in the lungs and literally EXPLODE in the lungs?

I think lysogenic viruses are scarier than the quick-replicating viruses that immediately burtst your cells following commandeering your cellular machinery. Insidious little bastards incorporate themselves into your own genome to be copied unbeknownst to the cell, to be spread throughout the body without being detected, only to launch a synchronized attack on the body, based on a specific stimulus. Bush should be launching a war against those bodily terrorists.
