I'm from the USA but am now in Suwon, Korea working as an English teacher. I'm looking to get in contact with other Korean metalheads for information on live shows, to trade music, and just to hang out and listen to some metal.

I don't live in Korea, but I am Korean. Check out the black metal band Oathean...great melodic stuff with traditional Korean instruments.

I don't live in Korea but I did a few years ago. I suggest you check out Moonshine, Sad Legend, Magwi, Niflheim, and of course the above mentioned Oathean. Your best bet for gigs would be in Pusan or Seoul.
