does anyone have any experience with these mics as cymbal overheads. cause i need a good pair of overheads and these seem to be really solid mic's but i was just wondering if any has used these before.

AdamWathan on here had some - don't think he had any complaints about the sound, but the side-address config. on an SDC seems like it'd be a pain (and he confirmed this)
No problem dude - Studio Projects C4's, Rode NT5's (they're apparently really hot though) or Oktava MK-012's (especially from www.oktavamod.com) would be my vote!

I recently had one of my C4's crap out on me, and it's apparently a pretty widespread issue with those mics, so you may want to just stay away.

I have used them before on overheads and found them pretty solid the side address thing doesent bother me at all, one thing i found was that they pick up a lot of low end from the kit
