YES!
This is by far the coolest cab/amp micing solution I've seen yet. IMMA WANT IT!!!!

I wouldn't want my mic resonating sympathetically with the cabinet. Great recipe for frequency build-ups and phase cancellations. As Shane mentioned, sounds like a great solution for live sound when space is at a minimum.

Even when space is not to a minimum, most bands still like to knock over or move every mic they can see on stage during a gig haha..

And these things have existed for along time allready btw!

i can see it slowly vibrating loose and/or sliding down the side of the cab during tracking thus ruining the time spent on mic placement. it might move slowly enough that you might not even notice until you go in for tear-down and see it in a different position after tracking your gtrz. talk about an " oh shit" moment.

Both seem like a great solution...the Amp Clamps are cheaper though! Anything to get friggin stands out from in front of amps at a show, for sure...too many times, I see someone kicked the stand in front of mine and I'm having to fix it mid-set. Ugh!

Oh god the horror!!!!

That would be like walking through a jungle and hearing a click sound and looking down and seeing a little wire under your foot. Fucked.
