THEE MALDOROR KOLLECTIVE PILOT

PILOT (Man with the Meat Machine) is the title of the new album from thee Maldoror Kollective (TMK),
scheduled for September 2006 on aural music.

A milestone in TMK career, and a must-have album for all sonic adventurers and cinematic scientists. The sixth studio album from TMK (this time properly self labelled as Textbook of Modern Karate) it’s a genre busting extravaganza devised to furtively suggest a modern noir odyssey into an imaginary screenplay. From the first Morricone inspired track to the urban cowboy synthetic drama on “A Gasoline Hero”, from the dada blast-o-rama of “Microphones & Flies” to brain-eating noise pinball in “Mauve Molls Moonlanding”, from the devilish Texas ride of “Zombie Children” to the cigar smelling title track, “Pilot” is a high-profiled crossover work cutting the edge of extreme music. The industrial pioneer and drums mystic z’ev contributed to the album adding a hypnotic noise imprint to “The Night Mr. Clenchman Died”, the most rock oriented song in the album and in TMK career. TMK and z’ev met in Turin times ago, and the result concretises in over ten minutes of desert rock and psychedelic spirals. The album is enriched by the “A Gasoline Hero” video by astonishing directorAlessandro Pacciani black belt in VFX. The friendship between the collective and the director of “BV-01” (Official selection - 9th Hollywood International Film Festival, Audience Award - Human Rights International Film Festival 2005) led to a visionary plot entangled into vintage technology images and a retro futuristic brainstorm: realised using digital technology and entirely processed in just three weeks, the video underlines the tension between flesh and machine through a sharp sound-video synchronization work, actualising Fritz Lang’s aesthetics with modern editing techniques. Suzi Lorraine, well know model and actress into horror b-movie such as She Demon of the Black Sun, Chainsaw Sally, The House of Dolls, Recon 2022 and many others kindly lends us her charming pin-up image for Pilot (Man with the Meat Machine) cover layout. Soon you will see some layout previews: expect something near Roman Polanski’s Chinatown moods.

SCALD RELEASE “VERMICULATUS”

Vermiculatus is Scald's most experimental, innovative and un-commercial project to date. The work consists of a singular album length instrumental track, the first section of which is performed by the band and is a complex composition of no repeated parts, followed by the closing section, which is an ambient reconstruction of the performance part. This is accompanied on the CD-rom track by a short animated film (Vermiculatus B1) with a further reconstructed soundtrack, an integral facet to the work and concept as a whole.
“Vermiculatus” will be released in June 2006 on code666 records.

NEW AURAL MUSIC SUBLABEL: AMMONITE INDUSTRIES

Starting from june 2006, Aural Music will take care of worldwide marketing and distribution of this new interesting label, founded by members of the Axis Of Perdition and Minethorn.
Excreted with no little puzzlement from Northern England’s largely sterilized musical waters: Ammonite Industries, an extreme music label with a difference, the kind of difference that makes you cross the street to avoid the smell, not to mention the flailing.
Truly, a label born to jiggle the superiority squid in the startled face of the banal!
If extreme music is a suppurating, bland swathe of stagnating mud ripe for exploratory prodding, Ammonite Industries knows just where to find the squirmy things that refuse to sway to the currents of the gunge.
Those bands that are shocked by the very idea of rules and have the tenacity to maintain a genuine vision of real depth and three-dimensional weight are to be mercilessly harassed.
Cardboard-cut-out outfits whimpering in soporific karaoke to the latest empty sentiments of a bloated scene are to be brain-wronged out the bad side of No.

Arbiters of scene homogeny will be thoroughly unimpressed by the signing of:

XENOLITH
Devastating extreme metal, equal parts venomous chaos and icy precision. The debut EP “Machine Apotheosis” is a Hellraiser-esque shifting mechanical labyrinth of technical ferocity and immense atmosphere, each tortuous avenue rife with its own innate terrors. A ruthless, epic reiteration of technophobia primed to bulldozer all in its path to a new dark future.

VORTEX SYNDROME

Technical death metal navigating through a boundless ambient space, Vortex Syndrome welds the progressive bent of later Emperor and the sensory assault of Myrkskog to an atmospheric electronic swathe, overflowing with alienation and off-world paranoia straight from Iain M. Banks, at once alluring, threatening and awe-inspiring.

HALO OF THE SUN
The new endeavour of Ein (The Kult Of Eihort). A vast, unnerving sprawl of dark ambient disquiet with sinister undercurrents of contorted metal texture. Ominous drums and sombre drones echo mournfully through the most desolate of nightmares. Prepare to be touched by the ghosts of the void…

HESPER PAYNE

Sludgy Lovecraftian doom expunged from the bowels of Teesside: Leviathan Cthulhoid grooves rise monolithically from a plateau of foreboding apocalyptic dirge, a slow moving yet horribly inexorable onslaught of cosmic horror. The stars are right for you to be crushed.

Negura B. - ...october:ill:
well, if the LP,DVD,Package is done..why october:erk: ..what's wrong with september?
all in all..very good news...cheers:p

That was what I was waiting for. And here I thought I was turning away from the more extreme metal platform. Nay! it seems. TMK, Scald's latest and the english Axis/Minethorn label seem very good. I hope the bands they find aren't mere copies or close inspirations to Axis or any really dirty and disorienting similair style, but I'm so interested that I probably won't care one way or the other. While mentioning Minethorn, Emi, is this still being released by Code666, or any of its subsidiaries?
