I'm trying to find most optimal way to use automation, and so far could not find the features I am looking for.
I use Cubase 8
This is how I would like to build a mix: first I want to create a static balance on a certain part of the song
e.g. chorus, then I would move onto other part like verse for example,so I would make necessary changes while keeping the chorus part intact. To do this I would need something like scene based static positions.
It might be called mixer snapshots or whatever, something like arranger track of mixer scenes.
It would be nice to have an ability to copy and paste existing balance onto other parts of the song, like the 2 chorus etc.
so far I was unable to find how to do this.Fill to cycle option within automation panel is the closest thing I found to achieve this.but still it doesn't work as expected.as the automation pass will not punch out at the right locator unless there were existing automation written on the track.
