avatar problems

ever since i got here ive been trying to get an avatar, but its been a huge bitch. everytime i find i pic on my comp i like and i try to put it on, the thing always says invalid file, or that the file is to big for the 6.8 KB capacity of the avatar setting.:hotjump: and when i resize it and it finally fits, it pointless because the pic is way too small. ideas?

make sure its not too high quality. go for the mb requirement before you go for the size requirement

I know, I did it with resized it Microsoft's photo editor and it turned out pretty good I think.

yea....i took the pic i want with a regaular digt. camera and tried resizing it in thumbs plus7, and paint, no luck but ill try it in photoshop

Lol, everyone has that shit but I doubt anyone paid the 2000$ adobe wants for it.
Adobe must be very pleased
