Hey fuck you I just joined a doom band as a side-project! Although to be fair it's more the groove-orientated sludge stuff like EyeHateGod, CoC, Crowbar etc.

I really like it! Triptykon are pretty cool, we're playing a festival with them in July, can't wait! Talking about awesome drum production, this has made me shit bricks ever since I heard it:

I worship everything production-wise on this album except the snare. It drives me crazy. It's too artificial sounding for my taste.

Randy only mixed that one, to my knowledge. I think he's strictly an engineer, as I don't recall him having many (if any?) production credits on albums.
