hey guys,

ive record some riffs with some beats i programmed in my cubase and recently mixed it.. i would like to hear your opinion about it.. feel free to criticize it!

I am a complete newb to mixing but I figured I would throw in my 2 cents anyway. Sounds awesome! I think that the bass drum and snare could be switched out for something a little more lively and in your face though...kind of starts to sound like hitting a piece of wet cardboard with a stick instead of having that nice crack. Other than that, maybe a little more bass guitar would sound good to give the guitars that extra oomph. For example, check out this guys song that he mixed:

notice how the bass guitar makes everything more heavy? Plus, the snare sounds really powerful and full of life. Nice job though, I like the song!
