I don't know why I haven't heard of these guys before, but I discovered them this morning and I found their music to be quite impressive. I download (I know evil word) all their albums and it's really catchy power metal. Looks like I'll have to see if Vintage Vinyl has their cds.

Have I been in the dark with this band? Has anyone else heard them?

I heard a few of their songs quite some time ago and was impressed.

I bought the first two albums, not bad, but not great either. Very repetitive.

The following albums, which I downloaded and deleted within three days, showed slight improvement but still nothing special. The very definition of an average power metal band in an increasingly crowded genre.

I too like this band. I have all of their CD's. But I must say though I was disappointed with their last effort. They seem to be stuck in a rut. But over all a good band.

Axenstar is pretty catchy. I enjoy them.
