Aynone listen to/heard of Powermad?

I was just wondering if anyone has listened to Powermad? They were a power/thrash band in the late eighties. They put out two EPs and one long out of print album called Absolute Power which I paid nearly 30 bucks for through amazon.

I have one of the EP's. I believe its the first one. They were a good band.

Hold on to that one, It's extremely rare and worth a fortune. If it's on CD, it's one of the rarest metal CDs ever printed.

"Absolute Power" is in my top ten thrash releases of all-time. I think they were a very dominant band for a very short period. I wish they would have put out more releases. They were technical, intelligent, emotic and heavy.

Hold on to that one. I've seen it sell on amazon for $250.

It's official, Powermad will play a reunion gig next year at Bang Your Head festival in southern Germany (one of my favorite festivals btw)

I have Absolute Power on CD. Great album. If I remember correctly the song Slaughterhouse was used on the David Lynch film Wild at Heart.
