It's not that they're weird, it just reminds me of a poem that was written in a hurry. Maybe there is too much repitition of words and phrases (which bothers me). I think there's also too much going on...too many voices and characters.
I would probably appreciate it more if it was visual...as an opera or something, haha.

Well, Arjen isn't exactly renowned as a lyricist or poet. The music is fairly entertaining, though. When I want to just not think, dance, and have a rockin' good time, this is one of the albums that I reach for.

great cd, listened to it to to death a year or two ago. I dunno why, but James LaBrie's voice is a lot less annoying and more bareable on it than with Dream Theater
