OK, I'll write this in Engl. although I don't see much sense in it, as nobody would be interested in that. it doesn't have to do much with metal, at least not that much (he was metal in 1982-88 or something).
anyway, two days ago, I took my mom to the concert of the band 4 ASA (consisting of Vlado Kalember, ex Srebrna Krila, bass, Rajko Dujmic, ex Novi Fosili, keyboard- zill of types,
, Jurica Padjen, ex Aerodrom-lead guitar, drummer-joker Slavko Pintaric Pishta and his vocal majesty Alen Islamovic-rhythm guitar). actually, I took mom to see V.Kalember,
, and I was curious to hear how Islamovic would perform. I used to have an album from Bijelo Dugme with him on vox, but I was in the elementary and the tape disappeared.
however, that man has inhuman singing skills, let's say, three of them sing, he stands 50 cm away from the mic, sings something for himself (back-up my ass,
), and kills all three of them, they are not there. nopt to mention when he sings solo. and of course, he plays guitar. and his voice doesn't break after two and half hours. he doesn't need a fuckin' mic in the little hall of Dom Sportova! (where I saw Judas Priest, Annihilator and Pantera in 1991).
miracle of a man, if you get a chance, go listen to that singing live, cuz it's a life time experience.... "Djurdjevdan je, a ja nisam s onom koju volim..."
