This video from YouTube is a ten minute piece from the hour and seven minute long feature titled "The Revenant." It is largely a silent film for the first twenty two minutes and the final fourty five has sound. This first excerpt and the upcoming second are the opening silent parts of the film.

I'm hoping to get the second part up as soon as possible, though when watching it, it will only be the first third of the film. But it still is fun for those that like silent films and grainy, low budget horror movies.

So enjoy! And if you don't like it, feel free to post your displeasure...I love all commentary!

This is my portion of my B-Movie...made for pretty much nothing and it looks it!

What do you think?

Yeah, I know...

This post is all over the place... :Spam:

I always tend to forgive spam from legit posters though. I feel as if it's an allowable offense...at least when it comes to shit like this. Movies, bands, etc. Feel free to whore it here....doesn't mean I'm going to buy into it.

p.s.- Too tired to watch this now. I'll check it out tomorrow.

Yeah...I've seen my share of spamming pointless crap and others spamming their product. Self-promotion.

And I know there's a "Self-Promotion" thread here, but I wanted to get the biggest possible audience, so I go to all of my favourite forums, with all of the popular bands. It did work...I got over 200 views in a couple of days from the YouTube viewing, and almost a hundred with the MySpace Video...

And if I do it again, I usually post it as a 'matinee,' then stop after that.

This time, I won't bother posting another thread and post the second part in the same thread...

As soon as I upload it...

Is that you in the film? I won't deny that I'd love to see a wee bit more action, but I watched the whole 10 minutes, so yeah, you definitely caught my attention. I'd like to see the whole thing. Btw, where did you shoot it? That place is beautiful.

I shot it in my hometown of Ventura, California...close to the city of Ojai. It happens to have a school for film and photography, called Brooks Institute, so it's a no brainer to film where the scenery is great.

I was thinking of posting the entire thing on Google or just putting it on a free download site if anyone wanted to have it. I don't know who, though.

I don't know if you'd like the entire thing, though, if you wanted more action. The whole thing is paced like that...though sound does come into the film after twenty minutes.

And yeah...that's me. After almost ten years on the internet, I finally put up a picture (a moving picture at that) of myself...I can't really afford actors, so I have to put myself in it. Fortunately, I have a cast for this one, so I'm not trolling around the woods for an hour and seven minutes!
