Baby Steps - AD/Recab Demo/Metal Guitard

I made this jam track solely to test impulse files/mixing on and I dug this so much I thought I'd share it. This is no Bulb/Splatt mix but it's as close as I've come yet.

There are 2 versions:
Raw mix

Mix with anonymous preset on C4 on master

There's some bad notes. I was fuckin off.

OK, now that you've witnessed my disgrace I'll take my ass back to Harmony-Central.com and talk some shit about how Mesa can't touch my Crate amp.

The c4 is really cleaning the mix in a good way. Mind sharing the preset? .

Guitars are the MusicMan Silo ( tuned to mother f'n E ) -> Boss SD-1 set to boost only -> PittBull 45 Drive Channel -> PB Line Out -> Boss CS-3 ( mainly to get the signal up ) -> SoundBlaster Live card

Rhythms are double-tracked. One track has 2 of the 2x12 Recab demo impulses, the other track has 2 of the 4x12 Recab demo impulses all via Pristine space with a LP at 90hz. Reverb on both tracks just for ambience.

Drums are Addictive, my own preset derived from Deadstars' and parallel comp.

Bass is Broomstick bass - Pumping Iron preset thru Revalver MKII on some bass preset.

The guitars seem to have lost a lot of crunch/clarity along the way. The tracks kinda sort sounded like the amp at first but... back to the drawing board.
