BABYMETAL

You're a bit late with this one. ;)

I honestly don't mind the writing and there are some pretty cool production tricks here and there I could see myself learning from, despite the complete lack of substance to the music added by those other two girls - they only really amount to annoyance since I find it hard to associate metal music with this sort of japanese cuteness shtick.

Gonna burn this to a cd and play it in the car for my 2 years old. Gonna be a bit different from her lullabies, but it's good to vary lol

Megitsune is a better song. I've come to terms with the fact that I am a Babymetal fan, but I have to admit, the two side girls are just annoying and unnecessary.

I think it's interesting how they mix the typical "idea" of metal and all the musical cliches with the j-pop thing. When I first saw them in metal sucks I was actually pleasantly surprised. I still can't wrap my head around it all though... 8-year-olds dancing to metal?
