But I guess this is unfortunate news for the Katatonia-fans that doesnt like BB and DM, 'cause if it wasnt for Bloodbath I guess there would be a new Kata album released this year instead.
Im not complaining at all though.

It has to affect it some way, question is how much. Maybe Jonas and Anders are writing more music than ever and since they only have a few gigs planned with BB i guess they could have the studio booked allready. We can allways hope.
That would mean 2 new from Bloodbath, 1 from Opeth, 1 from Katatonia and 1 maybe 2 from Anathema.

No Katatonia would make me angry, so I would listen to Bloodbath take it out on my body with alcohol. No Bloodbath would make me sad, so I would listen to Katatonia and gently weep and take it out on my body with alcohol.

Thanks guys! I'm pretty honored that they asked me to do another one, so I'm glad you guys are excited about it too. 
I have to top UtP, now, so it should be an exciting painting.
And to answer your question, I haven't gotten the concept quite yet...but from what I understand it's just around the corner. Then I start running sketches/composition by Anders until he approves and I start painting. I should be getting started pretty soon, though, especially now that they announced it.

haha. The sad part is Stefan came back to reply to practically everything said just now making him the reigning master of spam for yet another thread.
Dusty : Congrats on getting the artwork again, I think you did an excellent job on UTP. I also have the poster.
Oh and this album will be awesome, I just want to see a bit more variety this time around. UTP was a little bit overfocused on brutality for my tastes, rather than having the diversity of previous albums. I can't stand it when blast beats are overused. Still loved UTP though don't get me wrong.
