people get so insulted about movies being remade all the time... and the funny thing is, it will never change the greatness of the original because the original will always be available. it will only tarnish the reputation of the people involved in the new version (potentially). i actually like to see films get reincarnated because it perpetuates a franchise that was once a fond moment of my adolescence. to be able to share the similarity with today's youth is a nice contrast.

also, i must admit... i am a sucker for nostalgia.
