Bad News....a Bass Player Died

Jon Entwistle of The Who, he passed a couple days ago of heart attack.

He was the 1st bass player to do a bass solo. He was great.

It matters not that he was not METAL, cause he was so good, he could play any style. Very Original, very good, and he didnt just ride one string, the man used the whole intrement.

I suggest you guys find some songs and DL them, give them a listen, you are sure to be blown away by his head spinning abilities on those 4 strings.

Rest in peace old boy, rest in peace.

i just bought that new Greatest Hits album from them, got it for my dad for fathers day, great album

Iahve one of the older greatest hits, and a bunch of their other stuff. I love the who. They are great. I suppose they will go on though. YOu know Johns health had been giving him trouble for yrs, he was in and out of the band. When he was out they usually got this black guy to play. He did well, but JOhn, he was the one.
