Reminds of this guitarist that was popular a few years back - he's blond & blind - Jeff something or other. (Was in Roadhouse w/Patrick Swayze, I think) Played with his guitar in his lap - not country lapsteel stuff but blues and soulful rock. Cuz he's blind, he never saw someone playing the guitar so, as a kid, he taught himself to play with it in his lap. He soloed like that, as well! He was really good - & sang his butt off, too!!
