Finally got round to gettin a few of this bands cds and I fucking love them. I love the geeeky concepts of the albums, the cheesy spoken voice parts and the lush symphonic marmalades. Anyone else dig Bal?

I find them quite good. Literary contrivances aside, they always had a great sense of narration in their music - a feeling that it was going somewhere and leading to something and not just there for instant gratification.

Fantastic band, their lastest cd rules.... but when I saw their singer in a photo on stage wearing a spiderman shirt, sunglasses and a cap.... let's just say images were shattered....
