Ballad of broke back mountain dude

Good idea in my opinion. You could throw in how embarassing it is to be found dead naked with drugs everywhere......if one could be embarassed when dead.

1) Some people like to sleep in the raw.

2) all the drugs were legal prescription drugs. he was being treated for depression, pnuemonia and insomnia.

Which one of the 'legal' drugs was he taking with the rolled up dollar bill?

no idea, but the last i heard about that rolled up $20 is that they tested it and found no drugs on it.

These statements are true. However.....it makes it no less embarassing. I've tried NOT to follow the story too much as it begins to take over all the usual media outlets...but I do believe there was Oxycontin present? And with a rolled up dollar bill.....that's not just "hanging out" there. Not to say he'd used it yet...but folks don't roll up bills just to see the pretty shape.

did you skip the last few posts?
he had prescriptions for the meds found in his room [i havent heard anything about Oxycontin, but that's also a prescription med].
as for the rolled up $20, they tested it and found no drug residue.
as for it's shape, i've sat around and rolled up bills out of boredom. who's to say he didnt do the same thing?

Let's face it Sue, twenty-something years old actors just don't die in their beds of old age.

death is no respecter of persons. it comes to all, young and old; rich and poor; famous and unknown.
what i heard this morning was that his death may very well have been of 'natural causes,' possibly a heart attack.

just because so many celebrities toss their lives down the toilet with drugs and wild partying, doesnt mean that's always the case.

Ledger may very well be dead due to an overdose, either by accident or on purpose, but it's also very possible that he had a condition that caused his demise.
i've heard of 17 yr. old athletes dying unexpectedly of brain aneurysms. why is it so impossible to believe Ledger's death might not be a result of some less-than-straight-up circumstances?

The same reason its hard for you to believe that he died from snorting coke out of the ass crack of a 12 year Asian hooker? :D

well, since no coke was found in his system and there are no reports of 12 yr. old Asian hookers in the area, then i feel that can be ruled out as cause of death.

On a side note; when this movie came out it just made people in your face goofy about it. This bitch at work was talking about it one day and asked if I had seen it, I said no.
Are you going to see it?
I don't plan on it.
Why not?
It's a movie about gay cowboys. I'm not interested in being gay or a cowboy.
You're a homophobe aren't you?
That must be it. Did you see soul plane?
No
Racisit.

Classic!

I wouldn't play a homo, a hippie, a Florida Gator/Michigan/Ohio State/Notre Dame Fan, or someone from Texas, no matter how much they tried to pay me. I have some self worth!

So, I'll put this out there:
I don't believe in judging people on race or religion. I make no assumptions about people on those factors.
I do however make many assumptions on celebs and their drug addictions.
Double standard? You friggen betcha.

All this fuss over a mid-grade, supporting-role actor. Imagine if Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt dropped dead, it would get more attention than if the President or Pope died.

It only made news for two reasons. First off he was the gay cowboy..but secondly..and most importantly, he was the new Joker in Batman. Thats all. If this happened after he did 10 Things I Hate About you he would have been a side note just like Brad Renfro was when he died this month. Remember him, the little hick kid in The Client.

Brad Renfro was good in Apt Pupil
