So a band came to my studio to record their demo.

So here's a clip: HELLO

Is it my idea or the guitar sound is bad?

They recorded with some cheap awful guitar and i'm trying for 2 hours
to mix them with ninja eq and multiband compression.

the guitars sounds ok for demo but they are over the whole mix take them down

I think they're in a good level but i'm tired to really judge it right now.

actually i would like to give me some tips to improve the guitar sound.

what eq have you done to it ?

High Pass --> 100
Low Pass --> 12000
Many small adjustments you shouldn't care about.

cut about 700-800 area to have some dimensions in the guitar cut about 250 and see where everything else sits and cut there from the guitars couse they are "massive" in the mix over everything.thats what im thinking

yes you're pretty right.
now that i listen it after some rest there is no dimension in guitars so i cut some low mids and sounds better.

Guitars are definitely way too big. Bring them down, or bring the drums up. Make a big cut in the 800hz, see where that gets you.

the pickups haven't been soldered in the right way?

No there's a flangey-phasey sound. Cant hear drums.
