BarcelonaVSArsenal

Well now at 2:1 I think the game's won for Barca, but London put up a great fight, with a little luck Henry could have scored twice, I doubt Barca would have come back then
A pity the game only got interesting around the 70th minute

What do you mean by that... of course they won. That's whatv they deserved too. Barca rules!!

I have to say. I love Henke. Such wonderful assists!!

Yeah, Larsson has proven his greatness. On the other hand, Lehmann could have been the hero, had Arsenal managed to maintain the 0:1 score. And Henry, too, had he scored - a player like him simply must score in chances like that. I dont agree it got interesting around the 70th min., it was a drama from the very beginning. Great match!

I think that if Lehmann had stayed in the game things would have turned out different because the new goal keeper Almunia was kind of guilty for the second goal Barcelona scored and maybe with 11 players Arsenal could have done something more.

@tritonus
don't you like Ljungberg? i think that he is better in skill and looks :)

To be fair I prefer it that Barcelona won rather than Arsenal, as I hate Arsenal!

Chill baby, I like Henrik, its just that the last season wasnt really good for his standards - but at the end he has shown why he has every right to play for Barca. I cant wait for the World Cup to begin! :Smokin:

Ok, first of all I have to say that I am very tired of everything that has got to do with Ljungberg and no, I do not like him. He's a good guy though. I have met him, but to say that he has better skills than Henrik just proves you havn't seen much swedish football, ait? Not to be rude or anything....

You see Henrik IS sweden's best player, and he is the best we will have for a while.
He has a sense of the game like nobody in else in the team. I think Melberg and Isacsson has a good sense to and Kennet had it and Ravelli. Albäck for example always knows where to be in front of the goal when somebody will pass. But his is better then anyone we've got now. He knows the entire field.

He has the technique too. Ok, I admit that Zlatan is a better technissian, but hasn't got as half much of a clue of the game as Henrik.

He works hard too. Much harder than Zlatan. He does what he needs to and can play in any position. He can be an offensive forward and he could be a forward behind the defensive one and he could play as a midfielder.

Ha can coach the team.

As for Ljungberg. He has no balance and too much of an ego. Try to watch an entire match once and count the times he trips. You would not be able to keep track.

Speeking of Larsson. I happen(ed) to be an expert on Henrik Larsson trivia. havn't keot track the last threee years though. Care to fill me in?

To say that he isn't the best looking swedish player is just a sign of bad taste...:(

Hmm, i see that this is a touchy subject for you :) I agree that Larsson is a great player but as Marduk said he's last seasson wasn't really great due to some unlucky injuries. As for Ljungberg i think that he is great but i also think that playing in a looser team like Arsenal has corrupted him :) I still like his style better because he is fast and he can get into a shooting position in no time (like he did yesterday when he almost scored around '70 min). Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a lazy ego-trip bastard in my opinion and although he is obviously extremely talented i have never been impressed. Maybe it's just that i have never liked classical forwards like Ibrahimovic or Ruud Van Nistelrooy who depend on someone giving them the ball so they could score and if no one does give them the ball they are totally invisible trhroughout the game. That never happens with players like Ljungberg, Giggs, Beckham who are always active.
Oh and i think that Melberg is the handsomess football player out there, too bad he didn't have any luck on the penalt shoot out at Euro 2004.

disclaimer: Every comment given about male football players physical appearances and their handsomness was given in totally non GAY way

Henrik is faster than Ljungberg and yes, his unlucky season is due to his injuries and Arsenal isn't a shitty team at all. They've got Henry and he's the best. And Viera is also really good, hmm but Barca's got Henke and that's worth gold, as for Ronaldihno, of whom I do not know much.

Just think about this... Henrik was born 20/9 1971 and that would make him 35 in september. Can you remember any player being recruted from a uefa cup finalist team to a champions league winner team in the age of 3......2 I think.

He joined Sweden's national team in I think 92 in the 13:th october I think against Finland. I'm a bit rusty. I can't believe I almost do not remember. I'm suppost to be an expert on this. So , he's been playing in it for 14 years with a couple of smaller interruptions.

Anyway. He doesn't play for helsingborg for a long and goes to Holland to be treated like shit and that has nothing to do with this. What I'm about to say is that when he gets to Celtic he is after a couple of years named Europe's best scorer, wins the goalden shoe AND the golden ball. He plays in 2 WM's and EM's and is now one of the best WM scorers with 5 goals in two Worls championsships.

My point is that he has done all this, is still the best in Sweden, never gets lazy or nonchalant on the field and has went through bouth a fractured leg and a broken knee.
