i have the feeling this thread is not about irony, or the awareness of it.

also, i don't care for most sports, particularly soccer. i like physical activity (heh) and the healthy lifestyle, but i'm not interested in the competition or the entertainment industry's approach to sports.

Its the same as with baseball and bowling. I play the former, European version of nine-pin bowling, and the only reason for our sport being so underrated is that people rather drink beer while playing with a huge ball against 10 fat pins, where no matter how shitty you play, you always knock at least half down (well, provided you dont hit the gutter - but that requires maybe half an hour of practice).
