Bargain video card at NewEgg

I still have and love this card (until I drop some bucks on an x800).

radeon 9800 pro 128 meg for $136, even handles Battlefield 2 on high setting for me! (with 1 gig ram on a 3.0 P4).

Not worth it, you can pick up a geforce 6600 gt for that, those outperform the 9800 and the fx5950

i had a 9800pro and upgraded to a 6600gt agp. i have to say that to play new generation game you simply have to get new gen cards now.

the 9800pro can play older games (higher 3dmark2001 score), especially dx8.1, faster than the 6600gt. but the 6600gt plays newer gen like doom3 much smoother than the radeon.

6600gt is really the best value card currently. the x800 barely beats it.
