Since I don't have any guitar at the moment I though I'd just make a song with a bass only. I kept the song simple, riffing wise, I just wanted it to have some impact.

Please tell me what you think of the song and the mix.

The recording is very rough done with a cheap ass bass with old strings but still, haha! Oh and the drums are crappy programmed but whatever... for now it's okay.

Software Used:

- S2.0 (w/ The Metal Foundry)
- Cubase 5
- Random EQ's

Hope you enjoy...

Oh BTW: It's loud! :hotjump:

Thanks mate! I appreciate it.

I found out that the bass is pumping on some parts of the song so I fixed that, I will post a new mix soon.

Hello Icee, can i put my own guitars under it? say like a test!!

I'm not a great guitarplayer but like this track so much i'm inspired to
record some guitars on it. That's to say if you are interested to share
the track with me.

If youre not it's ok :Saint:

Yea sure of course, do you have Skype? :)

If so: add "fukdaduk".

I can send you some tabs and the tuning and eventually the tracks too. :)

:kickass:

Can someone give some tips on the mix for when I record the non-rough version with new snares? I will upload V2 in a sec.

Ok sure. I won't be home tonight so I can't do a lot right now but I will make sure I will contact you tomorrow! :Smokedev:

Looking back on the mix I think the snare should have less reverb too. But yea I'll do that tomorrow. V2 is now online on Soundcloud:

Please check out my other track too! It has some 5/8 going on in the middle.

COMMENT ON MIX and song I guess!

These are rough demo's with ONLY bass, it's meant that way (no guitar atm and I like the way bass is both rhythm and lead-ish.

The music is simple technical wise, it's also a choice until I have my guitar back.

Thanks! :kickass:
