Does anyone have any recommendations for a new 5 string bass? As I'm selling mine (the one that was used on Eternity, Alternative 4, Saviour, Lights Out and also used live by the mighty Dave Pybus, George Roberts and Jamie Cavanagh for Anathema) *cough cough*
I is lookin for a Rickenbacker really, any online stores?

Selling what and for how much?!?!?
I have a Warwick so I like Warwicks..
how about trading? :) ..
no.. I cannot give it up, i never sell an instrument. its like selling a child.

what else you require than 5 strings?

I recently picked up a Music Man Sterling, love that bass. Not sure if that real "boingy" tone is what you're looking for, but they make a 5-string Stingray.

Warwick is good, but sort of feels like playing a baseball bat. Awesome tone though.

I've only played one Rickenbacker and it was at a music store many years ago, very different bass. I felt like Lemmy. :)

http://www.bassnw.com is in the US, excellent pricing and service but not sure if they ship overseas.

This makes up some of my dreams/nightmares... I need to check my skin for leather like...

mine is like this black one but different pu's (masterman version) see 2nd pic, and it doesnt feel like a baseball brat at all. I like its rounded smooth body, the wood is beautiful. Its not painted just black oil on, so looks a bit gothic, too :) But 5kg heavy which is much compared to my weight. Has a heavy sound but yeah, it doesnt look like a heavy metal thing.
