Bass pickups upgrade

Hey guys,

I'm looking to upgrade the pickups in my bass, mainly to change from passive to active but you can only get so far with stock pickups.

I have a Squire Jazz Bass, 4 string. I was looking at EMGs but if you have other suggestions I'd really appreciate the input

I'm looking for clank city.

I put some Duncan Quarter Pounders in my MIM Jazz and it was a definite improvement. I have never really been completely happy with active bass pickups - so far my favorite sounds have all been passives.

I put a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound Precision and Hot for Jazz in my Jazz Bass. Sounds sick!

Heard great results from emg JVX jazz pups. I'm enjoying the stock ones in my VM Squier though.
