Today's match is The Berzerker vs. Diabolical Masquerade!

Who do you like better and why?

The Berzerker is 150mph grindy death metal that unfortunately reminds me of Slipknot because of their ridiculous masks.

Diabolical Masquerade is the "side" project of Blackheim (of Katatonia) and the legendary Dan Swano (I sure as fuck hope you know who he is), and is very aggressive, riffy black metal with some atmospheric or symphonic elements. In other words, they fucking rawk.

the berzerker have been around longer than slipknot. and they sound nothing at all like slipknot.

The only similarity in the masks themselves (not the concept), is the singers. Not that is matters, anyway. I like their masks. I don't like Slipknots. And their music is awsome, for my taste.

If you check them out (The Berzerker), try Corpral Jigsaw Quandary (cover, but still rulz) or No One Wins. Pure Hatred is an awsome song as well. You might like it. Might not.
