Today's match is Diabolical Masquerade vs. Slayer! In the first round, Diabolical Masquerade took out The Berzerker 14-6, while Slayer slayed Madder Mortem 22-4.

Damn, this is a hard one.....But Diabolical Masquerade gets my vote.
Slayer was amazing, but i don't care for their new stuff.

All one needs to do is throw in Show No Mercy, Hell Awaits, Live Undead, Reign in Blood, and there is no contest.

I think Slayer's Hell Awaits, while not quite on the level of Death/Black like Possessed's Seven Churches, it definitely definined a level of brutality and originality that makes this album one of my all time favorites. STILL.

Although Slayer is my least favorite of the original big 4, I can't deny their influence, and were it not for them, many of the bands that we are voting on wouldn't even be around. I'm actually surprised that this vote is relatively close so far...Slayer gets my vote!
