Here we are at the halfway point of round one. Today's match is Madder Mortem vs. Slayer!

Who do you like better and why?

Madder Mortem is ok and all, but we're talking Slayer. Their legacy and historical importance carries them through here, even though their last couple albums blew.

'God Hates...' was their last album, and IMO it really wasn't very good, though I did buy it with high hopes of a return to form.

I should also point out that I didn't like 'Diabolus...' or 'Divine Intervention' either. The last great Slayer album for me was 'Seasons...'

Never heard of Madder Mortem, but I vote for them out of Sympthy and the fact that I like about 15 seconds of slayer music.
