I agree, i cannot hear the bass and the kick needs presence.
The guitar tone is very good for my taste.

yes, i dont listen to bass too...
how do you record your guitars?
real amp? revalver, pod?

for guitars i use an amp
mesa dual rect, orange 4x12's
