Doug Thoms and Dave Diamond are listed as vocalists, but TBH, I never paid any attention to who was doing the singing besides Jon.

They use several different male vocalist, but I believe Jody Ashworth was one of the main voices. Jon Oliva sang some lead on one or two songs as well. Misery from that album sounds like it could be a track from Dead Winter Dead or The Wake of Magellan!

Jody Ashworth is Beethoven. He is on the Christmas Attic as well. He is my VERY fav vocalist in TSO. He doesn't tour with them and I could find very little on the Internet about him. He has GREAT range, clarity and emotion. The lower part of his range is incredibly powerful!!

Actually, I don't think Zak sings any leads, but I could be wrong. I believe he strictly does background vocals.

If that's not Zach on "The Dark", then I'mm be a monkey's uncle.
EDIT: I just checked the liner notes, and it is. Zach and two other people sing leads on the song.

Maybe it is. Like I said, I wouldn't swear to Zak not singing any leads, but now you have me curious. I'll have to listen to it tonight when I get home.

In addition to the others mentioned, Guy LeMonnier (who tours with TSO West ) is the lead vocalist on "Vienna".

Are they still playing "O Fortuna" (known as "Carmina Burana" west of the Rockies) at shows and promising to include it on some nebulous future release?
^Yes, they're still doing that. Paul O'Neil made an appearance at the show we saw a few weeks ago, and promised a new album and a summer tour and all the usual nonsense.
A TSO tour is pretty much like printing money at this point, so I can sort of see why they're not in any hurry to do new stuff.

A Beethoven Tour would kick ass if done right, along with some Sava rock opera classics thrown in for good measure! With that in mind, I'll believe it when I see it.
